Most of our dogs came from hard situations. What they found here was a soft couch, home-cooked meals, and someone who wasn't going to leave them behind.

Our Story
In 2023, we opened our home to the dogs nobody wanted to take a chance on — the seniors, the slow walkers, the gray-muzzled ones who still have so much love to give. Daisy Dogs isn't a rescue in the traditional sense. It's just home.
Our residents aren't "up for adoption" — they live here. This is their home, for as long as they need it. We walk them one on one, feed them nourishing whole-food meals, and let them soak up all the Sarasota sunshine they can get.

Daily Life
Every resident enjoys a full, joyful routine — tailored to their pace, their needs, and what makes their tail wag.
Our dogs are fed a wholesome diet of turmeric rice, slow-cooked chicken, rich bone broth, and quality kibble. Anti-inflammatory, delicious, and made with love.
Every dog gets their own one-on-one walk each day. We go at their pace — a leisurely stroll or a gentle amble, whatever suits them best.
Hot Florida day? We've got a large kiddie pool for wading and a sunny grass yard perfect for soaking up the warmth and sniffing the salty air.
When the heat gets to be too much, they come inside to the air conditioning. Florida summers are no joke, and our seniors stay comfortable all day.
Every resident has a comfortable, cozy bed to call their own. Just their spot, their blanket, their nap zone.
This isn't a temporary stay. Our dogs live here for the rest of their lives — with dignity, love, and companionship for every day they have left.
